Why Ludo on w345 Feels Different
Ludo is not just a game in Pakistan – it is a cultural institution. Every family has a Ludo board tucked somewhere in the house. It comes out at Eid, on rainy afternoons, during long summer evenings when there is nothing else to do. The arguments about whether someone blocked a token fairly, the suspense of needing a six to launch a piece that has been stuck at home for four rounds – this is shared memory for most Pakistanis.
w345 built its Ludo platform with that emotional connection in mind. The board looks right, the dice mechanics feel right, and crucially, the game is fair. Every dice roll on w345 is generated by a certified random number generator. There is no manipulation, no favouring of certain outcomes. You win because you played well and the dice cooperated, not because of anything else.
The money layer on top of the familiar game is handled exactly as players expect. Entry fees go directly into the prize pool (minus the w345 platform fee, which is shown upfront before you join any game). Winners receive their PKR instantly. Withdrawals to Easypaisa and JazzCash process in minutes. No unclear terms, no sudden deductions you did not agree to.

The Strategy Behind Winning Ludo
New players often approach Ludo as a pure luck game. Experienced players on w345 know better. Yes, the dice determine how far you can move. But what you choose to move – and when – is entirely under your control, and those decisions separate consistent winners from players who rely only on good rolls.
The most fundamental principle is token distribution. Having all four tokens on the board simultaneously gives you more options with every dice roll. If only one token is active, you must move that token regardless of whether the move is beneficial. Spread your tokens out early and you gain flexibility to pick the best move rather than being forced into a bad one.
The second principle is safe-square awareness. Every Ludo board at w345 clearly marks which squares are safe zones where opponents cannot capture your token. Planning your movement so tokens rest on safe squares when not actively racing forward is a defensive strategy that experienced players use instinctively.
Timing captures is the third key skill. Capturing an opponent's token sends it back home, giving you a significant positional advantage. But choosing when to chase a capture versus when to advance your own token toward the home column is a genuine strategic decision. Some of the most memorable moments in w345 Ludo tournaments come from a well-timed capture that completely changes the game's momentum in the final stages.

Rules, Tips and How Prizes Work
Starting a Token
You must roll a six to move a token out of your home base and onto the starting square. On w345, any six during your turn can be used either to launch a new token or to move an existing one. You also get a bonus roll after every six.
Moving Around the Board
Tokens move clockwise around the outer ring of the board. After completing the outer circuit, tokens enter the home column – the coloured centre track – and must reach the exact final square. Overshooting is not allowed; the token stays in place until you roll the exact number needed.
Capturing Opponent Tokens
Landing on a square occupied by an opponent's token sends that token back to their home base. Safe squares (marked with a star on the w345 board) are immune to captures. Capturing grants an extra dice roll as a reward.
Winning the Game
The first player to get all four tokens into the central home square wins. In tournament formats on w345, the final standings determine prize distribution based on the published payout structure for that specific event.
Get All Four Tokens Active Early
Prioritise rolling sixes to launch all four tokens before focusing on racing. More active tokens means more choice with each roll, which is the most powerful strategic advantage in Ludo.
Use Safe Squares Deliberately
When a token is three to six squares from a safe square, consider whether landing on it is worth slowing your advance. Against aggressive opponents who are chasing your tokens, safe squares are invaluable.
Capture Tokens That Are Close to Home
An opponent token near the home column is the most dangerous token on the board. If you have the option to capture it, do so – even if it means slowing down your own progress slightly.
Manage Clock Pressure in Speed Mode
In w345's Speed Ludo, the five-minute limit creates real pressure. Practise quick decision-making and do not waste time deliberating between moves. Having tokens spread across the board makes fast decisions easier.
1v1 Games – Winner Takes All
In head-to-head formats, the winner receives both entry fees minus the w345 platform fee (displayed before joining). Example: both players enter Rs 500 – winner receives Rs 950, platform fee Rs 50.
4-Player Games – Top Two Paid
In classic four-player games the prize pool is split 70% to first place and 30% to second place. Third and fourth place do not receive payouts. The split structure is always shown in the game lobby before entry.
Tournaments – Tiered Prize Pool
Tournament prize pools are distributed across multiple positions. A typical w345 eight-player tournament pays first through fourth place. The full breakdown is shown on the tournament registration page before you commit your entry fee.
